VIET NAM DISCOVERY AND HUE FESTIVAL 2012

Day 01: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival (D)
Upon your arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, you will be picked up and transferred to hotel in Hochiminh city, formerly known as Saigon. Ho Chi Minh City is a center of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam. This bustling metropolis, contradiction of its northern counterpart, is crowded with motorbikes and cars, excited by numerous shopping area and sidewalk cafés. (If time permits) we stroll around the down town to explore the different local ways of life. Welcome dinner at one of the finest restaurant of Hochiminh city. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 02: Ho Chi Minh City Tour - Cu Chi Tunnels (B, L)
The sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh begins with a visit to the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975. Close to the palace are some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office. We also visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum before continuing to the bustling Ben Thanh Market where everything and anything is for sale! We then transfer out to explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network of approximately 200 km constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Vietcong in the American war.

Day 03: Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang – Hoi An ( B, L)
Transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for the flight to Da Nang Airport. Arrival at Danang, visit Champa Museum, Marble Mountain, Non Nuoc Beach.
Arrive at Hoi An, visit Museum of Trade Ceramic, Fukien Assembly Hall, Old House, Japanese Bridge.
Stay overnight at Hoi An.
Day 04: Full day Hoi An Ancient Town and Beach Leisure (B)
Day 05: Hoi An – Da Nang – Hue (B, L, D)
Transfer to Hue via Da Nang, en route, stop at Lang Co Beach for relax.
Arrive at Hue, have lunch and hotel check in.
In the afternoon, Then you make a boat trip on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda. Next you go on visiting Minh Mang mausoleum. Have dinner at restaurant.
Stay overnight at Hue.

Day 06: Hue Discovery (B, L, D)
After breakfast at your hotel. Make a cyclo tour along the streets and Trang Tien Bridge to visit The Citadel with Five Phoenix Tower, Mieu Temple, Nine Dynasty Urns … Then you visit Dong Ba market and go shopping for having souvernir gift. Have lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon is your time for visiting Tu Duc and Khai Dinh mausoelums. Have dinner with special cakes of Hue. At night you join and enjoy Hue folk song.
Stay overnight at Hue.

Day 07: Hue – Thanh Tien – Sinh village – Thanh Toan Bridge – An Bang – Tam Giang Lagoon – Hue (B, L, D).
7h30: About 5km from Hue city, on downstream of Huong River and opposite the ancient town of Bao Vinh, you go with the guide of Huetourist by car to Thanh Tien village. This place is famous for its traditional craft of making paper flowers that has gone on for about four hundred years. You will see the authentic local work and participate, there, with co – working.
9h30: Continue by car to explore Sinh Village, hearing the story “tunnel digging to painting” of artist Ky Huu Phuoc.
10h30: Then transfer to Duong No and visit the Ho Chi Minh memorial house to know about Ho Chi Minh’s history
11h30: You continue the visit by the Thanh Toan Bridge and Agriculture museum to know more about the daily life of the villager.
13h30: Take direction To Phu Bai airport then continue to An Bang village – in 70s, where many boat people left here to find a new life. In the spirit of skeptical flavour, they come back and they buillt many lavish and colorful shrine to their ancestors that can not see any other places. They called it is “City Mausoleum”, it is also the expression for the spiritual life of people coast.
14h30: Visitting around the city and listen to local people talk about their mausoleum - worth tens of trillions.
15h30: Continue to My Khanh village and visit the brique Cham tower, 100 years old, covered by beach sandy. You follow the coastal road to Thuan An beach.
16h30:You will take the fishing boat from Thuan An pagoda wharf and across the lagoon, you go to Sam and Chuon area. That is your creating moment for “Sunset on Tam Giang” photos (Tam Giang photos tour). Stop by in Cho house for the responsibles travel activities by sharing your civilisation with fishermen and poor family, living on the water surface.
18h30: Have dinner with sea food and come back Hue.

Day 08: Hue Garden House – Ha Noi (B, L, D)
After breakfast, guide and driver take you to visit Ngoc Son Princess House and hear about the history of this house. Have a cooking class at a restaurant in Hue & have lunch with dishes cooked. Transfer to Hue Airport for the flight to Ha Noi.
Arrive at Ha Noi, free at leisure at Old Quarter, enjoy water puppetry show.
Stay overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 09: Ha Noi – Ha Long Bay – Ha Noi (B, L, D)
We transfer overland to Halong Bay, northeast of Hanoi and enter into the Red River Delta, rich with rural beauty and picturesque rice-farming villages. Once reaching Halong Bay, We board the wooden junk and set sail for a leisure cruise of Halong Bay. Declared a World Heritage Site to protect its beauty, we are cruise through its three-thousand islands and rich rock-formations, passing by Ga Choi Island, Dinh Huong Island, Dog Island, Sail Island, and even visit Thien Cung Cave & Dau Go grotto. Lunch served on-board while viewing the islands. Back to harbour. Transfer back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 10: Ha Noi City and Departure ( B, L, D)
Morning: Meet and transfer to visit Hochiminh mausoleum and his Former residence (close on Monday, Friday. Annual close for maintance in November), One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature - the first national university of Vietnam built in 1070, West lake and Tran Quoc Pagoda. Lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon: continue with Hoan Kiem lake and Ngoc Son temple, Historical museum-one of the finest museums in the whole countries.
Dinner at local restaurant in Hanoi down town then transfer to Noi Bai airport.
